I am so blessed.
This years birthday pressies have definitely been used to the max. The stamp set and stamp pads have been used to make a great collection that was inspired by a tissue box pattern and some of my daughters socks. And I am very inspired by all these stamps! so see the below posts if you want to know what I've been up to there.

Then there is my wardrobe.
I've had alot of my clothes for well over 5 years! Yes that includes underwear! So this year I've been replacing all old items of clothing that have been wearing for 5 years and where also second hand before I got them! yeap never been much of a clothes person but now I've updated my wardrobe abit......

I've finally given up my denim skirt I made out of second hand jeans I had for 7-8 years...... replaced it with....

Great for both summer and winter if you believe it! And I got it at a designer store..... Yes and I did actually spend big bucks on it but i love it.

I can also put a long sleeve top under it and use it in winter. he he love the versatility !!!

I also got this coat. And it wasn't as cheep as I wanted it to be but hey! I had money to spend at that point of time so I spent it......

Its been great!

I also got this at the beginning of winter. Cheaper this time at Farmers.

i needed something casual. lol And I also got some fab jeans as well.

This jacket thingy I just got in the weekend..... it was from Hartleys as well. Went down from $145 to $49.95!!! so I got a label REALLY cheap!!!

I haven't got much in my winter wardrobe any more but hey at least it is a start in the right direction and I am looking more modern. I also feel great in these clothes.

Now back to my birthday spend up.....
I bought these today......

Fiskars Seasonal texture/embossing plates.
Great designs. Although I use the texturising tool on them with more success than the stylus. ;)

I also finally upgraded my corner punch from Carl craft to a Fiskars one.

So I am very very happy with all my major purchases this year.

I am so very blessed to have people that love giving me money on birthdays and Christmas's. Without them I'd be stuck wearing clothing that is half warn out and shabby.

And I also believe it is the blessing of God. He's a big factor in all this too!!!

He he exciting stuff. Ok so its only a letter to the editor but at least it is something and my envelope is published in the mag!

I do have this colour already so I'll be giving it to my mum. she is a card maker.

The editor said that they liked the hidden journalling I did in the envelope.
